Welcome to Hill Top Farm

Welcome to our traditional hill farm in Malham in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We breed pedigree Belted Galloway cattle and Swaledale sheep in 1100 acres of limestone scenery.

Our Grade II listed holiday cottage sleeps five and is ideal for couples or families looking to explore Malham and the wider National Park. We also have a Bunkbarn – a converted Dales barn sleeping thirty two, perfect for extended family groups, corporate team building breaks and school trips. Both are just a short walk from the centre of the village.

Covid-19 Update

We’re taking safety seriously and have risk assessed the cottage and Bunkbarn in line with Visit Britain’s ‘Good to Go’ accreditation scheme. We have lots of new cleaning and management protocols in place to protect our guests, cleaners and ourselves.

These include longer cleans with extra attention to touch points, virucidal products, gaps between guests and provision of hand sanitiser.

Four lads in their forties came on a walking holiday! The cottage was faultless and exactly what we wanted. Ate at both pubs and wasn’t disappointed. Did a walk including Janet’s Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove in the snow, sun, snow sun weather combination! After a warm welcome we were left to our own devices which suited us perfectly. What a lovely weekend! The cottage was nothing short of perfect - clean, cosy and picturesque. We found everything we needed and Neil and Leigh we so genuinely helpful and friendly; we felt quite at home. Malham was a great spot to make ourbase for the trip and there was great food at the Lister Arms. We were awestruck by Malham Cove, so unique. From the moment you step into to this delightful cottage you are on holiday. Everything is warm, clean and comfortable. A beautiful fire welcomes you and endless hot water. By no means our first visit to Hill Top Cottage but our first winter stay. We managed some decent walks despite the weather. Had some great meals at the Lister's Arms - very dog friendly. Dog beds to pop by your table and doggie treats on occasion. We'll be back in summer and this won't be our last winter visit
